New field-tested Harvest Seeder from Red Barn Solutions utilizes Montag’s 2108 air seeder to evenly seed cover crops during the harvest. One pass takes advantage of good field conditions, direct seed-to-soil contact, a chaff mulching of the seed for improved germination, and it greatly lessens your time and expenses of seeding a cover. Regenerating your soil just got easier.

BETTER SEED EMERGENCE

The Harvest Seeder is designed to handle a variety of cover crops that can be air seeded with good soil contact. Iowa testing included a cover crop mix of oats, turnips and radishes to follow the harvest of soybeans. The 50 cu. ft. seeder capacity allows ample space to efficiently harvest and seed without delays.

The Harvest Seeder is mounted to the side of the combine. An articulating service platform ensures the operator can safely and efficiently access all maintenance panels.

The Harvest Seeder is currently compatible with John Deere S Series combines, for corn or bean heads.
